Jerry Spivey, CLU, CFP®

Jerry Spivey is a native Savannahian who, following in his father’s footsteps (Leo Spivey), has worked in the life insurance industry for over thirty-seven years.  Prior to coming to Savannah Wealth Group, Jerry was a top producer for a major mutual life insurance carrier and its subsidiaries.  His decision to join Savannah Wealth Group was based on taking his clients to a higher level of service available at the firm.  Jerry has earned both the Certified Life Underwriter (CLU®) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) industry designations.

Jerry graduated from Savannah High in 1966.  Before graduating from Armstrong in 1973 with a BA degree in political science, Jerry served three and a half years in the United States Army as a Chinese linguist.  His tours of duty include the National Security Agency at Fort Meade and a field station assignment in Taiwan.

Jerry and his wife Connie share four children and six grandchildren (half of each in Savannah).  Connie is recently retired as an administrator from the Elbert County School system.  Together they enjoy golf, University of Georgia football, and traveling.
